I have a necessary question of mine, it is about insurance.
Many types of insurance exist in Japan, some of them are obligatory and some are not. Car insurance is probably the most famous, it is not obligatory but many (or most of the) car-owning-Muslims are insuring their cars, because in the case of a car accident –la samaha Allah- the insurance company of the driver who made the (traffic) mistake will cover the costs of health treatment and fixing damages caused by the accident, and if the driver who made the mistake had no insurance, he himself will cover the mentioned costs, and these costs are estimated by the insurance company of the second party (the other... Assalaammu’alaikum, may i know the rule for attending funeral funtions, like doing the 40th days or sometimes doing 1 year’s. The family would call close family members and an imam. They would then pray the Yasin and some dua’s for the deseased. After that we would have our lunch/dinner. Is this right for me to follow my husband to his sister’s house or such? So confused! Please, need to know urgently, Jazak Allah Khairan.
