Is it permissible to pray Eid and not to pray Jumu’ah ?
Question:
Eid al-Adha coincides with Friday, is it permissible for me to pray the Eid prayer and not to pray Jumu’ah ?
The answer:
Praise be to Allah,
The scholars differed regarding the day of Eid if it falls on a Friday. Here are the 3 main opinions.
The First Opinion:

This is the view of Imam Shafi’i, and one saying of Imam Malik.
Imam Shafie said:
“If the day of Eid coincides with Friday, the imam prays Eid at it is time, then it is allowed for those who came from the countryside to leave if they wish to go back to their families and do not return to pray on Friday”.
It has been narrated from Abu Obeid Ibn Azhar, said: I attended Eid with Othman bin Affan( may Allah...

Dear Respected Imam Mohsen,
Assalamo alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh.
How are you? I am sorry for writing you after a long time. Thank you very much for your Dua for my uncle who passed away.
Jazakum Allah khairan for your effort to spread awareness the right and wrong according to Quran and Hadith.
I would like to heartily congratulate you on the beginning of the sacred month of Dhu’l-Hijjah.
I have got a question regarding one of the practices / prohibitions during the first ten days of this month. We have learned that a Muslim must not cut / shave his hair, nor clip the nails until the “Sacrifice” is finished. Some say, it is obligatory only for those who are performing the “Sacrifice” and some say it is applicable on all the Muslims till the prayer of...

Somebody says that if the women go to the masjid for prayer her salat will be in invalid. Do you have evidence of Quran and Sunnah anything, please let me know. We are the men going to masjid for Jamat because it will increase our reward. What about the women who can not join to the prayer due to some limitation.
