Needing Allah ; Needing Other People

Needing Allah ; Needing Other People There can be no doubt that human beings need each other. We all need other people. Likewise, many other people depend on each one of us. People in society assist each other and serve each other’s needs, even in ways that we are often unaware of. However, we do not rely on others in the same way that we rely on Allah. Someone who understands this and believes this will always retain his or her dignity. There is a great difference between helping one another in a dignified manner as part of the natural course of social existence – the best manifestation of which is to help one another in righteousness and...

Fatwa Center #5 Halal Food

Question 1: As Salaam o Alekum, Sometime ago, I had to dispose large material with Islamic contents. I disposed of the stuff that did not contain the name of Allah, sometimes cutting out the line that contained the name of Allah. However, now that I spend more time in Japan, I am confronted with a lot of physical items that I am not sure how to dispose of. Someone mentioned using shredder to dispose of stuff. I want to know if I can use shredder to dispose items that have Quranic ayats containing Allah’s name? Items: -Phamphlets (paper) -Brochures (paper) -Booklets (paper) -Hard cover books (paper + cover) Also, items like Quran with a hard cover also pose a concern for me. People sometimes bring the Quran (physical copy) to Japan but do not take it back. I are wondering what I can...

When a little of this substance is added to milk, it curdles and becomes cheese. In some Arabic-speaking regions, people call this rennet mujabbinah (cheese-maker), and the stomach...
